CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Getting tested for COVID-19 is very important for everyone in the community during the pandemic and Clarksville Transit System (CTS), is helping to make it easier for residents in the city to get tested.
Beginning Monday, November 2, Route 8, the Hospital/101 Express Route, will provide service to the Montgomery County Health Department’s COVID-19 testing site at Civitan Park, 650 Bellamy Lane.
The bus will leave the transit center at 200 Legion St., Monday-Friday at 10 a.m. and detour to Civitan Park on its southbound run and drop off passengers at approximately 10:20 a.m. for COVID-19 testing. The bus will return at approximately 11:35 a.m. for the return trip to the transit center.
“We will be providing this temporary detoured service to ensure that those who rely on CTS also have access to the free testing provided by the Montgomery County Health department,” said CTS Director Paul Nelson.
