CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to have been involved in an armed robbery at AutoZone at 1105 Riverwood Place.

On Feb. 12, at 8:08 p.m., the armed suspect approached the business on foot. According to CPD, the suspect then robbed the store at gunpoint before fleeing toward the Cumberland Manor Apartments behind the AutoZone.

Video footage shows a silver or white sedan of unknown make and model interacting with the suspect before the robbery. The sedan’s occupants are not considered suspects or persons of interest, but officers would like to speak with them to identify the robbery suspect.

The unknown suspect is described as a black male in his 20s or early 30s who stands between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. He was wearing black bottoms with a red sweatshirt or jacket with white or gray stripes on the sleeves, a black beanie, and a blue or black face mask.
