CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The man who was stabbed to death at a construction site on Old Russellville Pike Tuesday morning has been identified as 27-year-old Ivan Villa Contreras of Guthrie, Kentucky.
At about 9:39 a.m., Clarksville Police received a 911 call reporting an assault in the 1600 block of Old Russellville Pike, according to previous reports. Two workers were in an argument that escalated, resulting in one of them being stabbed. Contreras was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Cristian Noe Moreno-Hernandez, 24, of Springfield, was charged with homicide.
