A Celebration of Life service for Michael Steve Robinson, 44, of Clarksville, will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Clarksville. Chad Rowland will officiate. Burial will follow in Sango Cemetery.
Mike passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
He served as the 2019 Honorary Chairperson of Love Lights a Tree, a fundraising effort for the American Cancer Society.
Mike was a beloved member of the Clarksville community and selflessly gave of his time and talent to many. His passion for youth sports and music was an inspiration.
He was born on November 19, 1974 in Montgomery County, TN to Larry and Sandra Robinson. He was a member of The Bridge Church where he was a part of the worship team. Mike was a talented musician and worked with many other local and regional artists and performed across the Southeast.
He was employed with 5 Star Media Group for eight years. Mike’s passion for God, his family, friends, and his music was unrivaled. He used his incredible talent and story to touch the hearts of many and inspire the world around him. To know Mike was to know love, laughter, and compassion.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church and again Thursday, August 15 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Mike is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Billy Joe & Caroline Bush; paternal grandparents, Barbara Threet, J.L. and Lillian Robinson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rhonda McClain Robinson; son, Bryce; daughters, Bayleigh and Carly; sister, Melissa (Corey) Izatt; nieces and nephews: Jackson, Macy, and Addison Izatt, Lauren (Dustin) Wells, Jayden Heavener, Jacob Lieberstein, and Taylor Lieberstein; step-grandfather, Ronnie Threet; and step-grandmother, Lulah B. Bush.
Pallbearers will be: Joe Ligon, Lance Butler, Jimmy Carter, Jared Keeton, Jeff McLean, Jeff Arms, Shawn Berner, and Brian Rives. Members of the Clarksville Academy Middle School Football team will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family has set up a donation account in Mike Robinson’s name at F&M Bank.
