CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Action Agency (CAC) will offer Commodity Distribution Friday, March 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1410 Golf Club Lane.

Those picking up commodities must fill out a new application and provide proof for all household members of gross monthly income, or provide proof of eligibility for Food Stamps, Families First, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Residence in Public Housing, or Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in order to receive commodities.

Anyone who wishes to pick up commodities for someone else will be required to submit a signed permission slip along with the above mentioned information.

The Commodity distribution is in need of volunteers. Please call 648-5774 for more information.

Commodities are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Only one distribution per household. The program is available to all eligible recipients regardless of race, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin.
