Columbus William Parker, age 17 days, of Clarksville, TN, passed peacefully at Norton Children Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Columbus was born April 14, 2023, in Louisville, KY to Blake and Samantha Parker. He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Columbus Douglas; paternal great grandfather, William Parker; paternal great grandmother, Mattie Nell Parker.
Columbus is survived by his parents Blake and Samantha Parker; great maternal grandparents, Jack and Amelia Wallace; great paternal grandmother, Jonell Douglas; great paternal grandparents, Doug and Sonja Kelchner; maternal grandparents, Chris and Kim Douglas; paternal grandparents, Bob And Polly Parker; brother, Asher Lee Parker; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held for Columbus on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Central Chapel United Methodist Church in Dotsonville, TN.
Although his time was brief, Columbus was the epitome of love, courage and strength. He will be remembered for his tenacity and feisty attitude. His love of foot rubs from Momma and his side eye glances to his Daddy. He is loved greatly and will be missed.
