Cody Randal Cox, 44, of Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away on September 21, 2024, at his home in Clarksville, TN.
Cody was born in Birmingham, AL on April 1, 1980, and attended school at B.B. Comer in Sylacauga, AL and Lyman Ward Military Academy in Camp Hill, AL. He enjoyed hunting but was truly the happiest with a fishing pole in his hands. Cody always had a tall tale to share about his hunting and fishing adventures, loved to laugh, and found joy in performing acts of service for those he loved.
Cody is preceded in death by Wada Faye Fox, sister Elizabeth Cox, grandparents Nolen and Mary McGrady and Edward and Marietta Cox.
Cody is survived by his fiancé Diamond Gowan, parents Jerry and Pam Cox, siblings Jacqueline Dubose (Josh), April Dye (Shane), Courtney Cox, John Cox (Lauren), and Kimberly Cox, nieces Kelsey Cox, Lydia Thrift, Scotlynn Cox, Hannah Blair, Ashley Shurum, Faith Dye, and Acie Cox, nephews Parker Dye and Tucker Dye, 3 great-nephews, and 7 great-nieces.
A celebration of life for the family will be held on October 5, 2024.
