Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park — the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series — continues Saturday, June 16 with the showing of “The Lion King” at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The movie will begin promptly at 8 p.m.
Pickin’ on the Porch
Clarksville musician Mike Robinson will perform at Pickin’ on the Porch Saturday, June 16 at the MB Roland Distillery in Pembroke, Kentucky.
The event is free and open to the public, but there is a $5 per car parking fee. Guests can bring chairs, blankets, and outside food. Alcohol from the distillery is available for purchase and food vendors will be on site.
Downtown @ Sundown
The next Downtown @ Sundown Concert Series & Street Fair is this Friday, June 15 at 6 p.m. at the Downtown Commons (215 Legion Street). The free event features a concert from country band Trailer Choir.
The street fair begins at 6 p.m. Beer, soda, and water sales are cash only. Openers start at 7 p.m. and the featured artist takes the stage at 8 p.m. Chair and blankets are welcome but coolers and pets must be left at home.
Fun with Fido
Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host an event for dog owners Saturday, June 16 at the dog park at Liberty Park (1188 Cumberland Drive).
There will be games, prizes, vendors with a pet-focus, and off-leash fun at the bark park from noon to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
