Free Concerts
Spring into Summer: Free carnival rides, parachute jumper show, fireworks, a performance by country band Parmalee, and much more in Oak Grove, Ky. May 26 and 27 at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center at 101 Walter Garrett Lane.
Jazz on the Lawn: Beachaven Vineyards & Winery’s popular Jazz on the Lawn concert series continues this weekend with a performance by Bicho Brothers. Saturday, May 26 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Pickin’ on the Porch: MB Roland Distillery’s Pickin’ on the Porch series returns Saturday, May 26 with a performance by Tim Lynch. The distillery is located in nearby Pembroke, Ky.
Clarksville Downtown Market
The 2018 Clarksville Downtown Market will open Saturday, May 26 with more than 80 vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, milk, home décor, seasonal flowers and entertainment for all ages.
The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through Oct. 13 on Public Square.
Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park — the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series — will celebrate its 13th season as it kicks off on Saturday, May 26 with the showing of “Wonder Woman” at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The movie will begin at 8 p.m.
Opening of Clarksville pools and splash pads
larksville Parks and Recreation department will be opening the pools and splash pads for the 2018 summer season on May 26.
Pools are open daily through August 5. Admission is $5 daily, after 3 p.m. admission is $3. Seasonal and year-round pool memberships are also available.
