Last Pickin’ on the Porch
MB Roland Distillery’s Pickin’ on the Porch series ends for the season this Saturday, Aug. 25. Syd Hedrick & The Phalcons will perform.
The event is free and open to the public, but there is a $5 parking fee. Guests can bring chairs, blankets, and outside food. Alcohol from the distillery is available for purchase and food vendors will be on site.
Hoptown Summer Salute
A total of six acts will take the stage Friday and Saturday in Hoptown, as the popular Summer Salute Festival returns for a third year of food, free family activities, and fun.
The largest annual festival in Hopkinsville, Summer Salute will have inflatable bouncers inside the Kids Zone and Heritage Bank train rides, all free, in addition to 100 vendors of the food, drink and merchant variety that will start serving at 10 a.m. both days.
Summer Salute ultimately culminates Saturday night with its featured act — nationally-renowned country music group Sawyer Brown — during a concert on “the big stage” in front of the Hopkinsville Justice Center.
Clarksville Downtown Market and Scavenger Hunt
8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25: Get to know the vendors, discover how the farmers get the food from the field to the market, and learn how to recognize what is in season by participating in our market scavenger hunt. Winners take home a free Market shirt!
Saved by the Music: The Ultimate 90s Experience at Liberty Park
Road to Riverfest, an outdoor concert series leading up to Clarksville’s award winning festival Riverfest, continues with the final show of the series from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, August 25 with live music, food and beer at Liberty Park.
This free 1990s-themed concert will feature Saved by the Music: The Ultimate 90s Experience and free activities including cornhole, yard checkers and Jenga.
