Free admission day at Customs House Museum
The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center is open with free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as part of the Second Saturday Free Admission Day program.
Join staffers in the newly-renovated Family Art Studio until 4:30 p.m. and build a log home with craft sticks. Explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science and history. The museum is located at 200 2nd St. in Downtown Clarksville.
Free showing of ‘Despicable Me 3’ at Movies in the Park
Movies in the Park — the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series — continues Saturday, July 14 with the showing of “Despicable Me 3” at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The movie will begin promptly at 8 p.m.
Joel Brown performs at Pickin’ on the Porch
MB Roland Distillery’s Pickin’ on the Porch series continues Saturday, July 14 in nearby Pembroke, Ky.
The event is free and open to the public, but there is a $5 parking fee. Guests can bring chairs, blankets, and outside food. Alcohol from the distillery is available for purchase and food vendors will be on site.
