CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County League of Voter Empowerment (LOVE), a voters club comprised of local residents who meet monthly to discuss politics and the current state of governmental affairs, has announced its endorsements for the November 6, 2018 Federal, State, and City general elections.

LOVE has endorsed candidates that are running for elected office since 2006. LOVE’s 2018 endorsements include the following:

Clarksville City Mayor: Joe Pitts

Clarksville City Council Ward 1: Sabrena Gillespie

Clarksville City Council Ward 2: Vondell Richmond

Clarksville City Council Ward 6: Demone A Chestnut

Clarksville City Council Ward 7: James T. “Jim” Man

Clarksville City Council Ward 10: Stacey Streetman

Clarksville City Council Ward 11: Bill Powers

LOVE of Clarksville-Montgomery County also endorses the metropolitan government charter referendum of Clarksville for consolidation of the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County.
