Clarksville’s professional women are invited to gather, grow and connect at the upcoming Women in Business luncheon on March 26 at 11:30 a.m. at The Tanglewood House, 1601 Madison St. Brought to you by CDE Lightband and designed to educate, encourage and inspire, the series continues to build momentum as a space where ambition meets action.
At its core, Women in Business is built on three powerful pillars: Knowledge, the Multiplying Effect, and Community Resilience. Attendees gain access to high-level skills, industry insights and leadership strategies that are often harder to access in traditional settings. Beyond learning, the event fosters intentional networking, encouraging women to refer business to one another and keep local dollars circulating within a supportive professional network. When one woman’s business thrives, she hires, mentors and elevates others, strengthening the entire community’s economic profile.
Success at Women in Business goes beyond inspiration. It means walking away with a tangible takeaway: a productivity tool, negotiation strategy or marketing insight that can be implemented the very next day. According to Melinda Shepard, Executive Director of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, “We want attendees to make meaningful connections that lead to continued collaboration, not just collect business cards.”
This month’s featured speaker, Angie M. Callen, will present “True to You: Advancing Your Career as a Woman in Male-Dominated Fields.” A former civil engineer turned entrepreneur, Callen brings a dynamic blend of analytical thinking and human-centered leadership to her work. As a certified professional résumé writer (CPRW) and certified professional co-active coach (CPCC), she specializes in executive coaching, leadership development and team building.
Callen will share practical strategies for leading authentically, building confidence and navigating industries where women have historically been underrepresented, all while embracing a more collaborative, sustainable model of leadership.
Tickets are $50, with tables of eight available for $500. Seats are limited for this impactful afternoon of learning and connection. Register and purchase tickets HERE.
