CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left an 18-year-old with a gunshot to the face.

A call to 9-1-1 Tuesday night stated a woman was injured in a fall, but when EMS arrived at the residence on Nichols Drive, they found the 18-year-old outside with a gunshot wound to her face. The injury is not life threatening.

Police believe she was standing outside when a car drove by and someone fired shots before speeding away from the scene.

Investigators have determined this was not a random act and the general public is not in any danger. Police are conducting interviews and following leads.
