CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Rotarians are full of holiday cheer with their Christmas Tree Extravaganza and Auction. All three local organizations, Rotary Club of Clarksville, Clarksville Sunrise Rotary and Clarksville Sunset Rotary Clubs are partnering for the event.

The virtual extravaganza and auction, is taking place at Miss Lucille’s Marketplace, 2231 Madison Street, on Saturday, November 21. The event is a fundraiser for educational play pods for the Wade Bourne Nature Center and Nature Adventure Trail at Rotary Park.

Over 20 Christmas trees and 15 wreaths are on display at Miss Lucille’s now through November 20, so stop by and see all of the beautifully themed trees and wreaths. Each tree and wreath is highlighted with a photo, a video from their sponsor, and why they chose to participate in the event.

Kimberly Wiggins, President of the Clarksville Rotary Club, said the Nature Adventure Trail at Rotary Park will feature seven educational play pods for children. The trail and Play Pods are designed to replicate wilderness and outdoor exploration in a safe place for play.

“We are sponsoring what we call, the pollinator. It’s an all about bees exhibit and that’s where all of the proceeds from this exhibit are going to go,” said Wiggins.

Join the Clarksville Rotary, Sunrise Rotary, and Sunset Rotary Clubs online Saturday, November 21 at 6 p.m. for the live announcement of the winning bids. Awards will also be presented for the trees and wreaths with top earnings, along with Clarksville’s Favorite Christmas Tree and Christmas Wreath.
