Doors open at 6 p.m., whistle blows at 7 p.m. at Magic Wheels Skate Center.

Team members Ava Cordy aka “Flava Ave” and Brandy Thompson aka “Kill’N Dem Hose” were guests Friday on Courtney and Tyler in the Morning on Z97.5 where they explained the do’s and don’t’s of the high speed contact sport. “No elbows, no hits to the head but the legal hits are more than enough to provide plenty of action,” Cordy said.

Legal hits even sound painful with names like “Can Openers”, “Shoulder to the Sternum” and “Hip Checks.”

The team, founded in 2010 is actively recruiting new team members with monthly tryouts. Contact for info.
