CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police are attempting to identify a suspect who shot a 24-year-old man during a robbery at a gas station.
The incident occurred Jan. 22 around 1 a.m. at 601 Tiny Town Rd. The victim was pumping gas when he was approached by a man with a gun who told him to hand over his jewelry and wallet.
The victim complied, but the suspect shot him in the shoulder and fled the area.
The suspect is described as a black male who is 5’9″. He was wearing a bandana over his face and a hat at the time of the crime.
The 24-year-old was transported by ambulance to Skyline Medical where he was treated and released.
“We know the video is not very good, but there may have been someone in the area that saw what occurred and can provide information,” Clarksville police spokesman Jim Knoll said.
