CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Police Department’s K-9 unit is seeking facilities and locations for K-9 and K-9 handler training.
For training, it is important that the K-9’s and handlers are exposed to locations that replicate real-life scenarios. The Clarksville Police Department is asking people to volunteer spaces indoors or outdoors, such as warehouses, barns, storage areas, or vacant houses. The space should be available during daylight hours, unoccupied, and structurally sound. Training would be coordinated with the facility owner.
If you are interested in volunteering a building or space that could be used, you can contact Sgt. O’Dell at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5344.
