CLARKSVILLE, TN – Clarksville Parks & Recreation invites the community to participate in Fit Fest, an event devoted to discovering joy in movement, building habits that stick, and connecting with local businesses that support a healthier you.
Fit Fest is set for Saturday, June 13, from 12 noon – 4 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
It is a way to connect people of all fitness levels with local resources and experiences. Fit Fest blends high-energy activities, family-friendly programming, and plenty of opportunities to discover what wellness looks like for you.
Throughout the day, attendees can explore:
- A 5K Fun Run around Liberty Park.
- A Free CrossFit Workout presented by CrossFit SolaFide
- Powerlifting Competition presented by Operation Iron Gym
- A Health, Nutrition, and Fitness Expo inside the Wilma Rudolph Event Center featuring 40-plus local vendors and professionals sharing tools for healthy living.
- A Ninja Obstacle Course that encourages kids and adults alike to test their strength, balance, and endurance in a fun and approachable setting.
“Fit Fest is an open invitation to reconnect with your health within the community,” said Kimberly Gilbert, Special Events Supervisor for Clarksville Parks & Recreation. “Whether you’re someone exploring new wellness habits or a family just looking for a meaningful way to spend the day together, this is for you.”
