CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association has named Clarksville High School assistant baseball coach John Robichaud the Spring 2025 Assistant Coach of the Year, the group announced Wednesday.

“I’m extremely grateful to be recognized by such a well-respected organization as the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association,” said Robichaud. “I’ve been very blessed in my career to learn from great people and coach some great players. The quality of baseball in Tennessee is extremely high, and that’s a result of great coaches all over the state. I’m honored to have been selected from such a high-quality group of coaches.”

TACA recognizes the top assistant coach in Tennessee for the fall, winter and spring seasons. This spring, the Wildcats compiled a 38-8 record, a district and regional championship, and the program’s first-ever TSSAA State Runner-Up Title.

Wildcats head coach Brian Hetland said he’s grateful to have an assistant like Robichaud on his staff.

“John has been very loyal over his tenure and puts in a ton of extra time for the players and the field,” said Hetland. “He is a great coach and person, and Clarksville High School is lucky to have him!”
