CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Once Upon a Child in Clarksville (2728 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. #1) is hosting an event and bake sale on Friday, August 24 at 9 a.m. in support of one of their employees who has recently fallen ill.
19-year-old Dominique Jones went on a cruise with his family in June. Upon returning, he became sick, and while it took doctors some time to diagnose him, it has been determined that he has encephalitis, or inflammation of the brain.
To provide assistance for Jones, who has just completed his first year of college, there will also be a raffle at the Once Upon a Child benefit and bake sale, with a swing set and a $100 gift card to Once Upon a Child and Clothes Mentor raffled away. The raffle will continue through Monday.
All donations and proceeds from the event will go directly to the Jones family.
