CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Trinity Episcopal Parish will be offering its annual Prep for Kindergarten Program from July 5th to July 22nd.

This 3 week educational program is designed for any children who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2016. The program is Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and orientation for parents and students is Thursday, June 30, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

Eligible students are children entering kindergarten in Fall 2016 (age 5 by August 15, 2016) also due to low income, foster care, or English language learner status. Preference will be given to children who were not able to attend either Headstart or Clarksville Montgomery County School System pre-school.

This program is free for students and parents and is a great resource to ensure your child will be prepared to start their education on the right foot. Students will learn basic procedures and expectations required of Kindergarten students as well as academics such as reading and writing.

In addition, students will have several opportunities for enrichment activities such as music, recess, and library time. The staff teaching the program has a combined 40 + years of experience teaching young students. Breakfast and lunch will also be provide.

If you are interested in attending, complete an application, send a copy of your child’s birth certificate, and enclose a verification of your income to Trinity Episcopal Parish. They are open between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday or mailed to this address:

Once your application is received, you will be mailed a registration packet which will ask for some information about your student. Submit the registration no later than June 29th.
