CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Following their recent state championship victory, the Clarksville Christian girls’ basketball team continued their winning ways after winning their third consecutive D3 NACA National Championship.

The Lady Centurions dominated Mount Pisgah by a score of 68-36 with freshmen forward Lauren Hassell leading the way with 29 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks, according to the team’s official Instagram.

“As our season has come to an end, I want to say how blessed I am to coach this group of amazing young ladies, a wonderful coaching staff, wonderful parents and a supportive school family. These Lady Centurions continue to reach and exceed higher and higher expectations than I could have ever imagined,” said Clarksville Christian head coach Trenton Hassell on Instagram.

After the national championship, Lauren Hassell and Jayla Smith were named to the All-Tournament team.
