CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Chive and Chive Charities are presenting the Great Gatsby Masquerade Ball, Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
It’s going to be a roaring 20’s themed ball.
Christopher Valiante, with Clarksville Chive called the Masquerade Ball an adult prom.
“There’s a silent auction to raise money, we’ll have a live auction for some of the bigger items, there’s games there to play and everything goes towards charity,” Valiante said.
Valiante added there will be a live DJ, food trucks, a cash bar, and with it being 2020 everyone can relive the 20’s era.
Valiante said the organization has supported a number of community projects. Chive volunteers have been part of the painting of the pedestrian bridge over Riverside Drive, helped to clean up Rotary Park, along with supporting collections for food drives.
Clarksville Chive is the local chapter of Chive Nation and started in 2014 after a small group of individuals divided off of the Nashville Chive organization. Chive Charities is an international organization that began online and has since moved offline in the community.
Proceeds from the masquerade ball will benefit Chive Charities to help provide grants for future veteran, first responder, and rare medical diagnosis applicants.
Tickets are $38.50 for the Great Gatsby Masquerade Ball. For tickets or for more information visit Clarksville Chive on facebook or Eventbrite.com.
