CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce will take center stage this June with the 121st annual Gala, this year the “Giddy-Up Gala,” one of the region’s premier business and social events. The gala anchors a broader summer lineup of networking, professional development and member engagement programs designed to strengthen business connections across Clarksville-Montgomery County.

Set for Tuesday, June 2, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, the Giddy-Up Gala remains one of the Chamber’s most anticipated events of the year, bringing together elected officials, business leaders and community stakeholders for an evening of celebration and connection. The event begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.

“The Giddy-Up Gala is much more than a social event—it’s where relationships are strengthened and partnerships begin,” said Melinda Shepard, Executive Director of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. “This event is the culmination of the growth of Clarksville-Montgomery County’s business community and the collaboration that continues to drive it forward.”

Networking events upcoming

In addition to the Gala, the Chamber is offering morning and evening networking opportunities to accommodate a range of schedules. Members can connect at Business Before Hours on June 9 at Cumberland Ridge from 7-9 a.m. and Business After Hours on June 18 at Furniture Connection from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

While many organizations host a single recurring networking event, the Chamber’s dual-format approach allows professionals to build relationships in both early-day and after-work settings.

Professional development remains a key focus for the Chamber, with programming designed to support leadership growth across the business community. The Clarksville Young Professionals network will meet June 3, while the upcoming Women in Business event on July 29 will feature speaker Angela S. Martin and focus on leadership, balance and personal development. The event offers professionals an opportunity to gain insight, connect with peers and engage in meaningful conversations that support career growth and advancement.

Apply now for Ambassador Program

Members have just days left to apply for the Chamber’s Ambassador Program. Applications for the program close June 5. Ambassadors support ribbon cuttings, welcome new members and serve as visible advocates for the Chamber at community events. “Ambassadors help create meaningful connections between businesses and the broader community,” said Lisa Baggett, Vice Chair, Membership Services. “For professionals, it’s a valuable way to grow their network and visibility, while also strengthening the relationships that support long-term economic growth across the region.”

Recent ribbon cuttings across Clarksville and Montgomery County also reflect that growth, including new and expanding businesses such as Trane, Flat Branch Home Loans, MESO, Inc., Refinery on the River, Pizza Ranch and Leatherwood Distillery. These openings underscore the Chamber’s role in helping businesses build momentum across the region.

The Chamber is also offering members another opportunity to raise their profile through the 2026–27 Chamber Guide and Directory, which reaches more than 40,000 readers annually. Members are encouraged to update their listings and secure advertising space ahead of the June 30 deadline.

“The strength of our business community is built through intentional connection,” Shepard said. “Each of these programs and events is designed to create opportunities, drive growth and strengthen quality of life across Clarksville and Montgomery County.”
