CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fall sports in Clarksville continues this week with a slate of contests including a soccer region tournament, a volleyball state tournament, and a middle school football championship.

Clarksville High volleyball

After knocking off Houston High School last week, Clarksville High volleyball kicks off action this week with its first-ever game in the state tournament.

They will face off against Science Hill at 9:30 a.m. at Blackman High School in the state quarterfinals. The Wildcats have possibilities to play on Wednesday and Friday if they continue to advance.

Region 7-3A soccer tournament

Also on Tuesday, the region 7-3A soccer tournament kicks off, with Clarksville High hosting Dickson County, and Kirkwood traveling to Henry County in elimination contests.

The winners of those two games will face off in the region championship.

Middle school football championship

On Wednesday night, the Richview Middle School Cowboys and Kirkwood Middle School Cobras will face off in their championship game at Clarksville High School.

The Cowboys will be looking to clinch their fifth consecutive city middle school championship, while Kirkwood is making their first-ever appearance in the championship game.
