Ky’Ron Washington got national exposure at the Rivals Football Combine in Indianapolis by running a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash, 7.1 in the 3 cone drill, 4.3 in the 5-10-5, jumping 115 inches in the broad jump, and jumping 30.7 inches in the vertical jump.

According to Rivals and other recruiting agencies attending the combine, Washington by far surpassed the national average of thousands of other wide receivers in the 2022 class.

Ky’Ron is the son of Ron and Cheryl Washington; he is the youngest child out of nine kids. Kyron has attended Clarksville Academy since first grade. He is the first football athlete in the history of Clarksville Academy to attend a Rival Combine. Washington has colleges actively recruiting him from Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri and Arkansas; also he has been personally invited to over six prospect camps over the summer.

Washington is grateful for all that he has learned at Clarksville Academy, but next year he will be taking his talent to the Tennessee Heat where Coach Ryan Scott has great expectations for Washington in his offensive scheme for the upcoming football season.
