CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Academy senior guard Sicily Robinson has won Clarksville Now Player of the Week following her performance in the Cougars’ games the week of Dec. 1-7. Robinson stuffed the stat sheet, collecting 17.7 points a contest to go with 7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2 steals a game.

“Sicily has gotten off to a fast start this season,” said Clarksville Academy head coach Charles Clark. “She has continued to work on areas of improvement and do what we’ve asked.”

The Cougars are 5-3 so far, including a 5-0 record following a win against Kenwood last week. Robinson has been in double figures, and has led the way for Clarksville Academy, not only scoring but also being a fantastic defender, as shown by her steal numbers. Even after this award was decided, she dropped 28 points Tuesday night against Davidson Academy.

“Winning this honor really means a lot to me,” said Robinson. “I’m grateful for everyone who supports me, and I’m thankful I get to represent my team and my community. It’s a blessing, and I’m just trying to keep growing and getting better every day.”
