CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – As of Monday, Aug. 20, 2018 repairs to the gate at King’s Run Bark Park at Liberty Park, 1188 Cumberland Drive, are complete.
City of Clarksville officials made the announcement Monday afternoon, just one day after citizens started a petition to request repairs at the park.
Parks & Recreation Department leaders said the damage to the gate was caused by unregistered users trying to pry open the gate. Anyone who sees unauthorized use or vandalism at the Bark Park should contact police.
Patrons of the park pay a $10 annual fee and must provide documentation that pets are spayed or neutered and have up to date shots.
The fee covers the cost of a key fob which opens the gate allowing access to the park.
