CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) Clarksville High lost to Davidson Academy 4-1,Wednesday night.

The game was close through the fourth inning when the Wildcats tied it up 1-1. Davidson Academy scored one in the 5th and two more in the 6th inning, leading them to the win.

CHS junior pitcher Nick James pitched a little over five innings and had 10 K’s. Senior pitcher Collin Hamilton relieved Nick and finished up with 5 K’s.

Wildcat outfielder Kyle Buck got on base three times, with one of those being a double and also had a stolen base. Tennesse commit Skyler Luna had a single and a stolen base. Ford Copper had a single. Sawyer Harris is one tough player getting hit by a pitch twice in the game.

Clarksville High plays Gallatin at home Thursday and Davidson Academy plays Donelson Christian Academy.
