CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Christopher Reneau has announced his candidacy for Clarksville City Council, Ward 10.
Reneau currently serves as Executive-Special Projects for PTL Fabricators and previously served as Chief Financial Officer for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and Millan Enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
An active community leader, Reneau serves on the Boards of Bi-County Solid Waste Management, ArtLink, and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation, and he is a member of the City of Clarksville Internal Audit Committee. He is also a Sunday School teacher and youth leader at Living Hope Church. Reneau is a graduate of Leadership Clarksville.
Having lived in Clarksville for seven years, Reneau said he chooses to serve the city because of its people, opportunities, and strong sense of community. He and his wife are proud parents of two daughters who attend Austin Peay State University.
“I am running because I love Clarksville and want to help ensure that as our city grows, we remain focused on the values that make this community such a special place to live, work and raise a family,” Reneau said.
He said his priorities include fiscal responsibility and accountability, government transparency, infrastructure investment, and ensuring city government remains focused on the needs and priorities of Clarksville residents.
