CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – September is National Cancer Awareness Month and Chili’s in Clarksville is in full swing with their Create-A-Pepper campaign and plans for their 2013 All Profits Day to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Marin Alaniz with Chili’s talked about All Profits Day which is set for Monday, September 23 at Chili’s, 2127 Lowe’s Drive. “What we do is 100% of our profits that day goes toward St. Jude. We do this company wide not just here locally but the whole company does it on that Monday,” said Alaniz.
Alaniz encouraged everyone to come out on All Profits Day and added that while people were there they would be selling t-shirts and collecting donations. Chili’s will open from 10:45 in the morning until 11:00 at night and all profits on that day will go to St. Jude.
Leading up to All Profits Day at Chili’s is the Create-A-Pepper campaign where customers can color a pepper which is a signature part of the St. Jude fundraiser. Usually coloring while you’re eating in a restaurant is something that’s mostly for kids but at Chili’s everyone is encouraged to make a donation and color a pepper.
There are hundreds of peppers of many unique artistic designs on display at Chili’s and actually the fundraising events for the Create-A-Pepper continue through Wednesday, September 25, two days after All Profits Day.
Clarksvillenow.com along with radio stations Q-108, Beaver 100.3 FM, Z 97.5 and Eagle 94.3 will be working hand in hand with Chili’s in Clarksville on fundraising activities for St. Jude. Some of the radio stations will broadcast live from Chili’s on All Profits Day.
