CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation (CEMC), is celebrating 75 years of service to the area with their annual meeting on Saturday, September 14 at Rossview High School, 1237 Rossview Road. CEMC serves 90,000 rural residents in Cheatham, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart and Sumner counties.
The meeting will feature a complimentary breakfast for members from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on Saturday. There will be many free prizes along with a grand prize and special activities for children. Entertainment will be provided by the Bluegrass Volunteers and Minnie Pearl impersonator Jane Morrison.
Early registration is being offered for members who do not plan to attend the annual meeting or for those who would like to register early for Saturday. Registration will be held at all CEMC business offices on Friday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The business portion of the CEMC annual meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
