Violet Ceclia Bowles, age 92, of Woodlawn, TN passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Erin. Graveside will be held 1p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Dotsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.
Ceclia entered this life on October 26, 1930, in Montgomery County, TN to the late James and Johnnie Shrader Smith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Bowles, and siblings, Garner Ray Smith, Everit Earl Smith, Louise Bowers, Esther McCormick, Izorah Bowers. Survivors include her children, Freddie (Mary) Bowles, Tommy Bowles, Terry Bowles, Cindy Hook, and Tammy (Fil) Martocci; brother, Norman Smith; grandchildren, Danny Bowles, Jacob Bowles, and Josh Hardin; great-grandchildren, Kierston Bowles, Devon Bowles, Lillian Bowles, Landon Bowles, and Carly Bowles, and great-great-grandson, Lukus Potter.
Memorial donations may be made to Dotsonville Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Bowles, Terry Bowles, Danny Bowles, Jacob Bowles, Devon Bowles, and Jeff Atkins.
