A man was shot today in north Clarksville, and police are asking the public to avoid the area.

An overcrowded Halloween party led to a shooting last weekend, and police are continuing their search for suspects. The Clarksville Police Department said they are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on Oct. 29 around 2 a.m. at the Cloverland Event Center, 1411 Tylertown Rd.

Police are currently searching for the suspect involved in an armed robbery at Cash Express, 1219 Ft. Campbell Blvd., in Clarksville.

Interstate 24 eastbound has been shut down at Exit 11.

Two juveniles slept on the concrete floor of the interview room at the Clarksville Police Department this week, awaiting a hearing on carjacking charges after being chased down and caught by police.

Two juvenile carjackers were caught by police after a pursuit that crossed north Clarksville and went into Kentucky on Wednesday afternoon.

Police are looking for three unidentified males involved in a shooting that happened on Fort Campbell Boulevard on Oct. 21. According to a news release, a silver Nissan sedan occupied by three unknown males fired shots at a dark-colored SUV in the Planet Fitness parking lot on Friday.

The search is on for a man allegedly involved in a kidnapping and robbery that took place Monday afternoon in Clarksville. CPD said that on Monday at 3:40 p.m., the suspect, identified as Jordan Jackson, took the victim at gunpoint and forced them into a gray or silver SUV.

There are still a lot of questions about the shooting that happened over the weekend in downtown Clarksville that remain unanswered. However, the general manager at Hookah 21 said their bar is not to blame.

Two people were injured in a shooting outside Hookah 21 in Clarksville over the weekend, and the owner of Kings Bluff Brewery says enough is enough.
