Carolyn Watson, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 78.

Carolyn was born in Montgomery County, TN, on September 8, 1946, to the late James Brake and Dorothy Watts Brake. Along with her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her brothers, Kenny Brake and Tommy Brake, and Sister, Priscilla Grantham.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Mike Watson; sons, Elmer “Hank” Fleming (Lisa Marie), Thomas “Tom” Fleming (Karen), Adam Fleming (Heather), and James “Clint” Fleming; daughter, Lisa Ann Clark (Robert); brother, Jimmy Brake; sister, Judy Fleming; grandchildren, Dalton, Jessie, Stevie, Dylan, Lukas, Logan, Emily, and Amanda; and many great grandchildren.

Carolyn worked as a realtor for Next Home Moves and was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Carolyn was active in many local organizations. Carolyn served on the board of directors for Southern Baptist Relief, she was the founder of Bella’s Closet, and started the Fuel program for Montgomery County Schools to help provide meals to school-aged children. She was also a master gardener and member of the Garden Club. Carolyn was also involved in Angels for Air Conditioners and Pennies for Heaven.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Hilldale Baptist Church at 1:30 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024, with Minister Cindy Pitts and Rev. Paul Scott officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday, October 18, 2024, from 11:30 AM until the hour of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Carolyn’s grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her Hilldale Baptist Sunday School class and the Bella’s Closet team.
