Clarksville Now travels down to Exit 1 for week 4’s Game of the Week. An explosive Northeast offense averaging 35 points per game faces off against a Kirkwood defense that has allowed just seven points through three games.
The Eagles are looking for their first win over the Cobras, and this year might be their best chance yet.

Overton Bobcats (0-3) @ #2 Clarksville High Wildcats (1-2)
Clarksville High picked up their first win of the season this past Friday in a dominant performance against Rossview.
Overton has really struggled this year, scoring just nine points through its first three games. This one seems cut and dry: Wildcats by a wide margin of victory.

#3 Montgomery Central Indians (3-0) @ #5 Northwest Vikings (2-1)
If you said Montgomery Central and Northwest would be a combined 5-1 headed into this one, I’d call you a liar.
Sure enough, both the Vikings and Indians have gotten off to hot starts, making this game massive for both teams’ and their momentum. The Indians’ rushing attack has been dominant, and it will prove to be a mismatch against Northwest.
Clarksville Now’s pick: Montgomery Central 35 – Northwest 20.
#9 West Creek Coyotes (0-3) @ #6 Kenwood Knights (1-2)
West Creek has had one of the most disappointing starts of any area team to this point, being outscored 145-12 through its first three games.
Kenwood has had some moments this season but is still trying to put everything together. The Knights should be expected to take care of business, but it won’t be the worst margin the Coyotes have faced this season.
Clarksville Now’s pick: Kenwood 30 – West Creek 0.
#7 Rossview Hawks (0-3) @ Hendersonville Commandos (1-2)
The Hawks started 0-4 last season after a loss to the Commandos and are in danger of repeating that same path.
After a 27-0 loss to Clarksville High on Friday, Rossview is in desperate need of a win. Unfortunately for them, Hendersonville is one of the most battle-tested teams in the state and will not go down easily.

Hopkins County Central Storm (1-2) @ #8 Fort Campbell Falcons (1-2)
A disappointing finish to Friday’s Army Bowl leaves Fort Campbell one game under .500 and searching for a bounce-back win.
The Falcons have talent, but they’re still certainly in a transition period. Hopkins County is a difficult team to get a read on, but I expect them to take care of business within the gates of Fort Campbell.
Clarksville Now’s pick: Hopkins County 31 – Fort Campbell 21.
#10 Clarksville Academy (0-3) @ Nashville Christian Eagles (2-1)
Clarksville Academy is really struggling, as it had to forfeit Friday’s game due to a lack of participating players.
Nashville Christian has won back-to-back Division II-Class A state championships and is seeking another playoff run. If this one is played, things could get ugly.
