CLARKSVILLe, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) This Saturday from 10am to 2pm, Big Daddy’s Car Show will give you the chance to show off your prized possession or your souped up ride or just take a walk around some of the most awesome automobiles in the Clarksville area. Daymar College at 2691 Trenton Road is where you’ll want to be to take part in or just admire the entries in this event.
This yearly event will feature the following categories: Pre 1960 Stock, 1960 – 69 stock; Pre 1969 Custom; 1970 – Current Stock and Best Specialty or Novelty car. And the bonus of this special event is that all proceeds will go to benefit Crisis 211.
Crisis 211 is a 24-hour hotline for people who have basic needs for things like food, shelter, utilities and it’s the 411 for community information. Executive Director Terrie Williams said, “We’re called a blended crisis center because that means we’ll deal with people who are suicidal, people who are in bad relationships, and even people who are just having a bad day or are lonely.”
Crisis 211 is a partner agency of the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region and they are always looking for support in the way of donations or sponsorship’s for fundraising events like this event.
