Graveside service for Bessie Mae Simpson, age 96 of Burns, TN will be Saturday, January 24, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Alsobrooks Cemetery in Erin, TN. Bro. Terry Mathis will officiate. Bessie passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born on May 24, 1924, in Erin, TN to Oliver and Katherine Rye Allsbrooks. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, and painting.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 3 siblings.
Bessie is survived by her children, Dickie Wayne(Petty) Simpson and Patty (Sid) Goodwin; grandchildren, Jeff (Misty) Goodwin and John (Elizabeth) Goodwin; and great-grandchildren: Sam, Grace, Mack, and Henry Goodwin.
