Benita Rolon DeJesus, 79, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on November 25, 2015, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN.
Benita was born on January 4, 1936, in Salinas, Puerto Rico to the late Gervacio Rolon and Santos Colon Ruiz.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 29, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Benita was a retired seamstress for Flynn Enterprise in Hopkinsville, KY. She was a member of Soldier’s Chapel in Ft. Campbell, KY. She was also a member of AMVETS.
Benita is survived by her husband, Ruperto DeJesus of Clarksville, TN; three sons, Ruperto DeJesus, Jr., George DeJesus, and Frank DeJesus of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Marybel DeJesus and Marisela DeJesus of Clarksville, TN; brother, Roberto Rolon of North Carolina; two sisters, Rosaura Rolon of South Carolina and Zenaida Rolon of Florida; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tony DeJesus, Michael DeJesus, Frank DeJesus, Teddy Ryon, Ruperto DeJesus, and George DeJesus.
