CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Beaver 100.3 Camp Rainbow Radiothon wrapped up Friday with a total of $64,735 raised, thanks to the generosity and kindness of Beaver 100.3 listeners.

The two-day event featured Beaver on-air personalities, led by the Chris and Monica Morning Show, who shared heartwarming stories from campers, counselors and parents about how Camp Rainbow has touched their lives.

“This year’s radiothon was another amazing experience. Seeing the community pull together for the 14th year is just amazing. I can’t thank everyone enough. Everyone at the Beaver 100.3 did an amazing job. The money will make for another great year at camp,” said Camp Rainbow Director Jereme Miner.

This year’s Beaver Camp Rainbow Radiothon was sponsored by Wyatt Johnson. Since 2009, more than $870,000 has been raised for the kids of Camp Rainbow.

“This shows you when the community comes together to help kids what great positive things can happen. We want to thank everybody, and it’s just amazing what people do to help others in this community,” said Beaver 100.3 Program Director Mike Sanders.

Camp Rainbow is a summer camp held each year at Brandon Springs Group Camp at Land Between the Lakes.
