CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – UPDATE: “Service has been restored for customers in the Clarksville area whose service was affected by a cable damaged by a contractor working for another provider,” AT&T said in a statement. “Our technicians worked quickly to repair the cable and service is running normally.”

Many AT&T customers in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area are experiencing network service outages.

DownDetector.com shows sporadic outages throughout the nation, including the Middle Tennessee area.

A similar issue was reported earlier this week, affecting 911 calls and other services.

It is unclear when full service will be restored.

Clarksville Gas and Water released information about bill payments and other ways to contact them.
