CLARKSVILLE, TN – ArtLink is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser from June 1 through July 31 to raise funds that support the organization’s general operating expenses and mission of expanding access to arts programming, community events, and creative experiences throughout the Clarksville area.
ArtLink will earn funds based on the total weight of gently worn, used, and new shoes collected. Funds2Orgs will provide compensation for the donated shoes, with proceeds supporting ArtLink’s operations and helping sustain its arts programming, community events, and creative initiatives.
Community members can support the fundraiser by donating gently worn, used, and new shoes at the following drop-off locations during regular business hours:
- ArtLink (98 Franklin St.)
- No Egrets (1128 College St.)
- Total Balance Massage and Wellness (1716 Memorial Drive)
All donated shoes will be redistributed through the Funds2Orgs network of micro-enterprise partners. Funds2Orgs works with entrepreneurs in developing countries to help create, maintain, and grow small businesses where economic opportunities are limited. Proceeds from shoe sales help provide food, housing, education, and other necessities for families around the world.
By donating gently worn, used, and new shoes, community members are giving those shoes a second life while helping support ArtLink’s mission and creating economic opportunities for families around the world.
