Anita Ann Lawson, 70, went to be with the Lord peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
She was born October 6, 1953, in Clarksville, TN, daughter of the late William J. and Anna B. Lawson.
Anita was well known for her time at Opryland USA as a singer and performer prior to retiring from the entertainment industry. She loved spending time with her family, particularly her
niece and nephew, as well as her dog Sam. She is survived by her brother Larry Lawson and wife Robin of Frisco, Texas; nephew Luke and niece Hope Lawson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, 1510 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37040, with the burial following at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2930 Highway 41A South, Clarksville, TN 37040. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until the hour of service on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
