CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCAC) will host its monthly microchip event Saturday, March 25.
Pet owners can register cats and dogs for just $15.
All cats must be in carriers and all dogs must be on leashes during the event.
The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County will provide $5 off spay/neuter coupons and free treats.
MCAC says 1 in 3 pets will go missing at some point and without proper identification, 90 percent never return home. Microchips help owners locate their missing pets.
The event will be held from 12-3 p.m. at 616 N. Spring Street.
