CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Altrusa International of Clarksville has awarded two scholarships to graduating seniors that were nominated by their School Counselors based on criteria outlined by our Scholarship Committee.
Shamiqua Bowie, Rossview High School and Ruby Lewis, Austin Peay Middle College, each received $2,000 to be applied to their tuition at Austin Peay State University.
Shamiqua’s was announced at the Senior Awards night at RHS on May 3rd where she was given her “big check.” Both students attended the monthly membership meeting on May 16th, where Ruby was officially awarded her “big check” as well. Shamiqua and Ruby are to be congratulated for their dedication to their academic achievements and future goals in life.
Altrusa International of Clarksville is an International Community Service Organization specializing in local community needs with a focus on literacy and education.
