CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – One of Clarksville’s newest employers, Agero, played their part in giving back to the community to ensure no child in Clarksville-Montgomery County went back to school without age-appropriate school supplies.
To assist in this effort, Agero sponsored Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s “Back to School Splash” August 4. In addition, Agero held a month-long “Back to School Drive” collecting supplies such as paper, crayons, markers, pencils, flash drives, and notebooks. More than 450 employees worked together to collect more than 3,900 items. To ensure their donations had a maximum impact, they divided the goods amongst the “Back to School Splash,” the Clarksville Montgomery County Teachers’ Warehouse, and their Partner in Education School, Rossview Elementary.
Agero is committed to being a strong community partner in each of their locations and has made their presence known in the community since they arrived in October 2012.
