CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- An Adams man and woman have been indicted during the December term of the Montgomery County grand jury and charged with several sex-related crimes against children.
Christopher Monson, 49, is charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual battery, three counts of rape, seven counts of rape of a child, nine counts of a “sex-related” crime, one count of attempted rape, one count of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of continuous abuse of a child.
He is accused of committing multiple acts of sexual abuse against minors over an extended period of time.
Christy Monson, 37, is charged with two counts of failure to report child sexual abuse, coercion of a witness and tampering with evidence.
The case was investigated by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Liberatore.
The two will be arraigned in January in Montgomery County Circuit Court in January.
Christopher Monson’s bond was set at $100,000. Christy Monsoon’s bond was set at $20,000. They have both since bonded out of the Montgomery County Jail.
