CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man is facing charges after he reportedly accidentally shot another man.

Clarksville Police were called to Caldwell Lane around 2:00 p.m.Tuesday. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 20-year-old man outside. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his chest.
Officials say the man was alert and responsive while being transported to a Nashville hospital.

According to the police report, Dwight Seay accidentally discharged his .22 caliber handgun inside, shooting a man walking outside.
Dwight Seay, 47, was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with Reckless Endangerment. Bond was set at $10,000.
