CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – 5 Star Media Group is excited to welcome its new director of sales, Cindy Rollison, an experienced leader in broadcast media and digital advertising.

Rollison has spent more than 20 years building high-performing sales teams and diving sustainable growth across several markets in Virginia and northeast Tennessee.

“I couldn’t be more excited to work and grow alongside such a talented team. Together, we’re committed to helping our business community thrive,” she said.

Rollison first led Cumulus Media’s Blacksburg, Virginia, market as local sales manager in 2005-09, then as vice president/general manager from 2009 to 2019. She then joined Wheeler Media Solutions in Roanoke, Virginia, as director of business development. In 2022, Cumulus Media recruited her back to serve as VP/GM of its Tri-Cities, Tennessee/Virginia market, and when that assignment wrapped in 2023, Wheeler welcomed her back into her former role, where she remained until early July 2026.

She is a graduate of Rising Through the Ranks, a leadership program for women on the rise in radio leadership hosted by the RAB and BMI. She was also named Business Woman of the Year by the Montgomery County, Virginia, Chamber of Commerce in 2018. She now calls Clarksville home. She’s a graduate of Leadership Clarksville‘s Class of 2026, an active member of the Clarksville RotaryClarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Clarksville Alumni.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Cindy to the 5 Star Media Group family,” said General Manager Emily Ward. “She brings an exceptional track record of developing people, building strong client relationships, and driving results. Just as importantly, Cindy is passionate about serving local businesses and investing in the communities she calls home. Her leadership will be invaluable as we continue expanding our marketing solutions and helping businesses throughout Clarksville and the surrounding region grow.”

Rollison replaces Amber Anderson, who has been promoted within Saga Communications to lead the advertising team in Columbus, Ohio.
